News PortalHon’ble Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji Introduces NIKA2, Spotlighting Janaki Pulaparthi’s Women-Led DeepTech Journey

New Delhi, August 13, 2026: Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji unveiled the NIKA2 Kisan Medium Drone developed by AkinAnalytics, highlighting an important milestone for women-led DeepTech entrepreneurship in India. Founder and CEO Janaki Pulaparthi presented the indigenous agricultural platform and demonstrated its capabilities before the Union Minister. The occasion brought attention not only to the drone’s technology but also to the growing presence of women entrepreneurs in India’s advanced technology landscape. AkinAnalytics is a MeitY-supported Indian DeepTech and Defence technology startup, with its work spanning drones, artificial intelligence, analytics and specialised sector applications. Under the leadership of Janaki Pulaparthi, a Computer Science Engineer and ISB alumna, the company has developed solutions aimed at agriculture as well as environmental operations, infrastructure, mining, energy and defence. The opportunity to showcase NIKA2 before Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji adds national visibility to this women-led technology journey. The NIKA2 platform has been developed to address multiple agricultural requirements rather than functioning solely as a spraying drone. Its 16-litre spraying payload is complemented by a 13-kg spreading payload, allowing spraying and spreading operations to be performed through the same platform. The drone can cover approximately three acres per sortie, subject to field and operating conditions. Such multi-use capability is aimed at making drone deployment more versatile across different stages of agricultural activity. Its design also incorporates technologies intended for challenging field conditions. Terrain-following capability enables the drone to operate across varying and undulating terrain, while its application range includes tea-estate spraying. NIKA2 is also equipped for night operations and incorporates advanced fail-safe features. Beyond crop spraying, its capabilities include seed and granule spreading and aquaculture-related applications such as feed distribution across fish and shrimp ponds. The company’s story has been shaped by practical drone deployments on the ground. In Andhra Pradesh, AkinAnalytics has deployed drones for aerial seed-ball dispersal as part of large-scale afforestation operations across forest landscapes. This work demonstrates how the company has approached drones as tools for solving sector-specific challenges rather than as technology products alone. Its DGCA-authorised RPTO at Amalapuram further extends this ecosystem by supporting drone training and rural entrepreneurship. Government-backed innovation programmes have also formed part of AkinAnalytics’ development journey, including NIDHI PRAYAS, Startup India Seed Fund Scheme and MeitY SAMRIDH. The company has also participated in the iDEX defence innovation ecosystem and Stanford Seed Spark. The unveiling of NIKA2 by Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji now adds another important milestone to that journey. It brings together women entrepreneurship, indigenous DeepTech and agricultural innovation, while demonstrating the potential of Indian startups to develop technology specifically suited to the country’s operational realities. News PortalFrom India to the World: The Growing Demand for Herbs, Spices and Botanical Ingredients

India has long been associated with herbs, spices, traditional botanicals, and plant-based ingredients. From the spices used in everyday cooking to the botanical ingredients incorporated into modern wellness, food, cosmetic, and natural-product formulations, Indian-origin products continue to find applications well beyond the domestic market. What is changing is not necessarily the ingredients themselves, but the way people and businesses access them. Consumers are increasingly exploring natural and plant-based products, while manufacturers, retailers, importers, distributors, and emerging brands are looking for reliable sources of herbs, spices, powders, oils, seeds, and other botanical ingredients. This has created opportunities for Indian suppliers that can connect a diverse range of products with both domestic and international buyers. One such business is  WYSNER BOTANICS , an Indian supplier, trader, exporter, and online brand working across the herbs, spices, botanical ingredients, herbal products, and natural-products categories. Why Indian Herbs and Spices Continue to Attract Global Interest India's relationship with herbs and spices is deeply connected to its agricultural diversity, culinary traditions, and long-standing use of plant-based ingredients. Indian spices are already familiar in kitchens around the world, while herbs and botanical ingredients are used across a much wider commercial landscape. Food and beverage companies, herbal-product manufacturers, nutraceutical businesses, cosmetic companies, retailers, wellness brands, and ingredient distributors all have different requirements when sourcing natural products. For international buyers, finding a supplier with access to several categories can also make sourcing more convenient. Instead of approaching separate suppliers for every product category, buyers may prefer working with a sourcing partner capable of offering herbs, powders, spices, teas, oils, seeds, dry fruits, and other natural ingredients. This broader approach is becoming increasingly relevant as businesses expand their product ranges. More Than Just Herbs and Spices The natural-products sector covers a surprisingly broad range of ingredients. A modern botanical supplier may work with everything from medicinal herbs and herbal powders to whole spices, spice powders, spice blends, herbal teas, essential oils, seeds, nuts, dry fruits, dehydrated vegetables, edible mushrooms, and other botanical ingredients. WYSNER BOTANICS has developed its portfolio across many of these categories, serving both individual consumers and commercial buyers. For a retailer, this variety can help broaden its product selection. For a manufacturer, it can provide access to different raw-material categories. For an importer or distributor, a wider portfolio can create opportunities to consolidate sourcing requirements. The result is a natural-ingredient marketplace that is no longer limited to traditional spice trading. The Rise of Wholesale and Bulk Sourcing There is an important difference between buying a natural product for personal use and sourcing it for commercial purposes. Businesses may require larger quantities, consistent communication, suitable packaging, product information, and dependable supply arrangements. Importers and distributors may also need suppliers who understand international sourcing requirements. This is where the B2B side of the botanical industry becomes particularly important. WYSNER BOTANICS serves wholesalers, importers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, private-label businesses, and other commercial buyers in addition to individual customers. Its product categories include herbs, herbal powders, spices, spice blends, botanical ingredients, herbal teas, essential oils, seeds, dry fruits, and other natural products. For businesses developing a natural-product range, having access to multiple categories through one supplier can make the initial sourcing process more straightforward. Private Label Is Creating New Opportunities The expansion of eCommerce has also changed the natural-products business. Small businesses and entrepreneurs can now build specialized brands without necessarily operating their own manufacturing or agricultural supply chains. Private-label sourcing allows businesses to develop products under their own branding while working with external suppliers for suitable products or ingredients. This has opened opportunities for herbal-product brands, wellness businesses, retailers, and online sellers. WYSNER BOTANICS welcomes private-label, wholesale, export, and sourcing inquiries, making its portfolio relevant to businesses looking to develop or expand ranges involving herbs, spices, botanicals, herbal teas, and natural products. For smaller brands in particular, the ability to discuss sourcing requirements directly with a supplier can be valuable when building a new product line. Natural Ingredients Across Multiple Industries One of the reasons botanical ingredients remain commercially interesting is their versatility. The same broad category of natural ingredients can serve very different industries. Food manufacturers may source herbs and spices for culinary products. Beverage businesses may explore herbal teas and botanical ingredients. Cosmetic companies may use plant-based ingredients within their formulations. Nutraceutical and herbal-product businesses may require botanical powders and other ingredients for their product development. Retailers and eCommerce businesses, meanwhile, may sell finished herbal products directly to consumers. WYSNER BOTANICS identifies food and beverage, nutraceuticals, herbal products, cosmetics and personal care, pharmaceuticals, wellness, natural products, retail and eCommerce, private-label brands, and ingredient trading and distribution among the sectors it serves. This cross-industry demand helps explain why the market for herbs, spices, and botanical ingredients extends far beyond traditional grocery products. From Traditional Ingredients to Modern Online Commerce Perhaps one of the most noticeable changes in the sector is the combination of traditional products with modern eCommerce. Herbs and spices may have been traded for centuries, but today's customers can discover, compare, purchase, and inquire about products online. For consumers, this means easier access to herbal products, spices, teas, and other natural products. For businesses, online platforms can become an initial point of contact for wholesale, export, private-label, and sourcing discussions. WYSNER BOTANICS follows this combined model, maintaining an online presence while also focusing on wholesale supply, export opportunities, and commercial sourcing. The combination allows the business to address both consumer demand and B2B requirements. The Importance of Quality-Oriented Sourcing As the natural-products industry grows, buyers are becoming more attentive to sourcing. Product selection, consistency, communication, and suitability for the intended application all matter when purchasing herbs, spices, and botanical ingredients. A supplier's role is therefore not simply to make products available. Businesses also need clear communication about what is being supplied and how it fits their requirements. WYSNER BOTANICS describes its approach as one focused on carefully selected ingredients and quality-oriented sourcing, while maintaining an emphasis on customer communication and service. For international buyers, direct communication can be particularly important when discussing wholesale quantities, export requirements, private-label projects, or specific product-sourcing needs. Building a Connection Between Indian Suppliers and Global Buyers India's established agricultural and spice ecosystem gives Indian suppliers an important position within the global natural-ingredients marketplace. But access to products is only one part of international trade. Connecting those products with suitable buyers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, and brands is equally important. Businesses such as WYSNER BOTANICS are operating within this intersection of Indian sourcing, international trade, eCommerce, and the growing interest in natural products. Its portfolio brings together herbs, herbal powders, spices, botanical ingredients, herbal teas, essential oils, seeds, dry fruits, dehydrated vegetables, mushrooms, and other natural products. For buyers exploring Indian-origin natural products, this type of multi-category supplier can provide another route into India's broad botanical and agricultural marketplace. What the Future May Look Like The demand for natural ingredients is creating opportunities across both consumer and commercial markets. Consumers are exploring plant-based products and traditional botanicals. Entrepreneurs are creating specialized wellness and natural-product brands. Manufacturers are looking for botanical ingredients. Retailers are expanding their natural-product selections. Importers and distributors are searching for new product categories. These developments are creating a more interconnected market in which Indian herbs, spices, botanicals, and natural products can reach customers far beyond their traditional markets. For companies operating in this space, the challenge will be to combine product variety with dependable sourcing, responsible communication, and an understanding of what different buyers actually need. WYSNER BOTANICS is positioning itself within this changing environment as an Indian supplier, trader, exporter, and online brand serving consumers as well as wholesalers, importers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and private-label businesses. As global interest in herbs, spices, botanical ingredients, and natural products continues to develop, India's role in this market is likely to remain significant. For businesses looking toward India for natural ingredients, the opportunity is not simply about sourcing a single herb or spice. It is about discovering a broader ecosystem of botanical products—and finding supply partners capable of connecting that ecosystem with the needs of modern global markets. About WYSNER BOTANICS WYSNER BOTANICS is an Indian supplier, trader, exporter, and online brand specializing in herbs, spices, botanical ingredients, herbal products, natural ingredients, and wellness products. Its portfolio includes medicinal herbs, herbal powders, whole spices, spice powders, spice blends, herbal teas, essential oils, seeds, nuts, dry fruits, dehydrated vegetables, edible mushrooms, botanical ingredients, and other natural products. News PortalDeeksha Vedantu Veteran of 15 Years Creates History: Dr. Krishna B S Felicitated for Record-Breaking Umling La Expedition

Bengaluru, August 13, 2026 — Deeksha Vedantu's KMWA PU College in Mahalakshmipuram played host to a proud moment for the Deeksha Vedantu family today, as Dr. Krishna B S, an educator who has spent 15 years shaping students at Deeksha, was felicitated for setting a new India Book of Records title: the Longest Car Journey to Umling La by a Specially Abled Individual. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Harish R, representing the India Book of Records team, who presented Dr. Krishna with the official India Book of Records certificate recognizing his title for the Longest Car Journey to Umling La by a Specially Abled Individual, in the presence of dignitaries, students, faculty, and members of the Deeksha community. Dr. Krishna's expedition covered over 1,261 kilometers across ten days, taking him from Chandigarh through some of the most demanding terrain in the country — Zojila Pass, Kargil, Leh, and Hanle — before reaching Umling La at 19,024 feet, the highest motorable pass on Earth. He completed the entire journey behind the wheel himself, without a support driver. For those who know him at Deeksha Vedantu, the achievement is consistent with a career built on the same conviction. Alongside his role as an educator, Dr. Krishna is an accomplished bodybuilder who has competed at a national level, a life shaped, in his own words, by refusing to let assumptions about his body define what he could do. Dr. Krishna B S said: "Deeksha Vedantu has been home for 15 years. It's where I found that teaching and proving are the same act. I didn't take on this drive to set a record. I took it on because I wanted everyone to see, not just hear, that disability is not inability. Every pass, every kilometre of that journey was a lesson that I will carry my entire life and I hope it inspires my students never to set limits to their dreams.” The recognition places Dr. Krishna's name among India Book of Records' roster of "extraordinary feats by extraordinary people.” It’s a title earned not in a studio or a stadium, but across ten days and 1,261 kilometres of some of the country's most unforgiving terrain. For Deeksha Vedantu, where he has spent the last 15 years shaping students, it's a milestone that means something more: a living example of the belief the institution has always tried to instil in its own students.

From India to the World: The Growing Demand for Herbs, Spices and Botanical Ingredients

At the same time, members' assets under management and trading activity continued to increase, reflecting growing global interest in AI-powered quantitative technology and financial products related to digital assets. Industry data indicates that quantitative investment among individual investors is expected to reach new levels in 2026. Cryptocurrency investment products have recorded net inflows for multiple consecutive weeks, while professional capital continues to enter the digital asset sector. Institutional investors accounted for  55% of over-the-counter trading activity in the cryptocurrency market , up significantly from  41% in the second half of 2025 . Team Growth: Expanding Global Talent and Local Capabilities During the first half of 2026, OK AI QUANT continued to advance its global talent strategy, with its overall team size growing significantly compared with the end of 2025. Building upon its founding team of quantitative engineers from leading Wall Street hedge funds, AI algorithm specialists, and experienced traders, the company further expanded its global recruitment efforts and continued to bring in professional talent across key areas including technology research and development, compliance and risk management, and business development. During the first half of 2026, the company also recorded continued membership growth, with the  number of new members increasing substantially year over year .  As of now, OK AI QUANT's global membership base has grown to more than 1 million members , while its organizational structure across different functions continues to develop. Of particular importance, following the formal implementation of its India market strategy, OK AI QUANT has established and fully staffed its core local team in India, covering key functions including compliance, technical support, business development, and market operations. This provides an important talent foundation for the company's continued development in India and South Asia and supports the establishment of a more comprehensive localized service system. Going forward, OK AI QUANT will continue to advance global talent acquisition and localized team development to provide ongoing support for its international market expansion. 3. Technology Capabilities: From Factor-Based Models to Agent-Based Intelligence During the first half of 2026, OK AI QUANT completed a core algorithm architecture upgrade of its  Graph Neural Network time-series forecasting model V3.0 , further advancing the integration of AI and quantitative trading technologies. Industry trends indicate that the transition from traditional factor models toward automated feature engineering is accelerating. Cloud-native execution platforms and flexible latency-tier architectures are also becoming important technological foundations for the quantitative trading industry. As AI agents gradually expand from cryptocurrency markets into traditional financial markets, cross-asset and cross-market trading infrastructure is expected to become an important direction of competition in the next stage of the industry. OK AI QUANT is adopting  “AI-driven, human-machine collaboration” as its technology development approach and continues to advance its global market expansion, AI research and development, quantitative strategy innovation, and talent development. Deeksha Vedantu Veteran of 15 Years Creates History: Dr.
