<p>On December 22, 2023, “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire” had its grand premiere, arriving in cinemas in both normal and IMAX formats. Critics’ views varied; some were more or less impressed, while others tended to like it. But the crowds turned out in droves, and the movie was a box office hit. Despite having a budget of only Rs 270 crore, it managed to generate an astounding revenue of Rs 705-715 crore from ticket sales. <p>Salaar 2: Aim For A Launch April 2024<br />
Now that the first episode has come to an end, fans are waiting impatiently for any news about the sequel. But the wait is now over. Filming for the second chapter of the movie series is set to begin in April 2024, according to a report by Pinkvilla. Bobby Simha, an actor who portrayed a prominent role called Bhaarava in the series, disclosed this information to IDreamMedia.</p>
<p>Bobby also said that Prabhas is eager to repeat the success of “Salaar” with the sequel, “Shouryanga Parvam,” because of the film’s enormous success. He added that the director, Prashanth Neel, would carry on the plot.</p>
<p>Producer Vijay Kiragandur said, “The script of Salaar 2 is ready and we will start the film any time,” as reported by News18. Even Prashanth wants to do it, and Prabhas wants to get it onto the floors as soon as possible. We have been talking about Salaar 2, and within the previous two to three days, we have discussed shooting the movie within the next fifteen months. Salaar 2 will undoubtedly be released in 2025, or around 18 months from now.</p>
<p>“Salaar is a global festival for Prabhas’s admirers. The results and responses have us more than happy. Granted, there are some drawbacks, but none has voiced complaints about the production, scope, or drama. For the first time in 20 years, people saw Prabhas as an angry young man,” he said.</p>
